Europe's Kyoto Fiasco

US conservative site Human Events has published Europe's Fiasco Should Not Become Ours by myself and Michael Economides this morning.

It's essentially a warning to the US not to follow the path of EU rhetoric on Kyoto and carbon cutting. The EU totally failed to make any realistic progress last month for all their (anti-US) Kyoto rhetoric.

For the record, the Bush administration alone called it absolutely right on the original Kyoto Protocol - it was a total non-starter as it would mean economic suicide for any country that actually implemented it. The UN/EU hope for a 'Son of Kyoto' in Copenhagen in December 2009. It stands no chance. Just more political Co2 emitting, in fact.
