Al-Megrahi: The Shame of Scotland
Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 04:11PM
This picture of Libyan TV footage showing (convicted Lockerbie bomber Al-Megrahi still alive almost two years on from his release, has to be the shame of Scotland.
You will remember, the plaid-clad, dim-witted medics/politicians from north of the border only gave him three months to live.
Now wouldn't it be something if the military currently targeting Tripoli et al were to 'copter in and extract Al-Megrahi for trial in the United States?
And if the U.S. were to try him in one of the 38 states that still has the moral spine to impose capital punishment at least Al-Megrahi would not be able to claim a 'near-death' experience, as he did with the 'we-need-a-lesson-in-justice' Scots.
The Americans could give him the real deal.
