Writer for hire.... (formerly with the Acme Agency)
As no one - in the politically-correct world of the mainstream media - has yet had the wisdom and wit to offer me megabucks to work on a column for some prestigious national publication, I am forced to ply my writing trade as best I can elsewhere.
In the circumstances therefore I earn my crust as a freelance writer, journalist, media analyst, PR man, copywriter and columnist-in-waiting from different sources. I write the occasional book, write and sell my own articles in the UK, USA and Canada (see some articles at my 'Hot Wires'. I also draft numerous forms of copy material. In short, I am, sometimes, a writer for hire. So if you need something written: features, copy, adverts, fundraising documents and newsletters et al I could be up for it. And if some editor of some elite publication or online site should by chance wish to hire an "English Mark Steyn"...(a friend's assessment, not mine).
